An open restaurant seen from directly overhead at the Siam Mall in Bangkok.

On about my 4th return trip down the escalator, mall patrons began to look at me funny. "Why is this guy riding up and down the escalator," I assume they asked. The way the atrium is laid out, the only possible angle at this photo came from the precise midpoint of the down escalator. Hence, to capture the photo perfectly, I was forced to ride the darn escalator 7 times, despite the distinct risk of looking clinically insane.

And just to point out, the tables are simply littered with mobile phones!!!
